My college magazine

^^^ They are the images that I am considering using in my college magazine. I might not use all of these images and some may not suit the sytle of the magazine.
On the front cover of my magazine, I will have a title with an image that will take up the whole page. However, I will use photoshop to add other images so that they on top of the main image.
In my contents page I will list what I would have intended to put in the magaszine, with extra images. The contents will include, a page about films and a page about music, there will also be a page about fashion, I may also add a questionaire and a 'chance to win something' competititon.
The techniques that I have maily used are close up or medium close up shots.

Analysing the questionaire

From the questionnaire that I created, many conclusions can be drawn from this. I have discovered that the people I questioned enjoyed listening to mostly to rock and indie music, and sometimes pop or rap. Also, they would rate them self as middle class who mainly like being with a small group of friends. They say that they are slightly influenced by the media and people that are older than them, and would rather watch a film or listen to music than to read a book. They have hobbies which mainly include being with their friends, or listening to some music. Also, they say that their characteristics are “kind, happy, fun, bubbly, friendly and helpful.” Some people were not as interested in t.v or reading books as they were at listening to music, however I think that it would be better to put films, t.v shows, books and music into the college magazine as this is more likely going to attract more people as it suits a wider range of people. The people I questioned were slightly interested in fashion, but not too much.

media questionaire

1. Are you male or female?
2. What kind of music do you like? (pop/rock/indie/rap/metal/other)
3. What is your nationality?
4. Describe yourself in 3 words?
5. Would you rate yourself as upper/lower/middles class?
6. How would you describe your lifestyle?
7. What are your fashion interests?
8. Do you prefer being in a small group of friends, being the centre of attention or being by yourself?
9. Would you say that you are influenced by the media?
10. What are your hobbies?
11. What do your parents work as?
12. What do you aspire to be?
13. Do you feel driven by the need to succeed?
14. Would you like to go to university?
15. Are you concerned about the environment?
16. Who are you influenced by?
17. Are you interested in any specific t.v show?
18. How do you like to socialise?
19. What magazines do you like to read?
20. Do you prefer to read a book, listen to music or watch a film?

I chose these questions becuase I thought they would give me the answers that I needed to create the college magazine. The theories I used for selecting these questions we're that they gave me ideas as to what people would like to see in a magazine and what the enjoyed.
When I was creating my questionaire I had a question which was "How old are you?" however, I later decided that this was not a very useful question as all the people I would be asking are college students aged between 16-18. I replaced this question with "Do you prefer to read a book, listen to music or watch a film?" because I thought that this would give me information on a persons interests.
